Workcamps (HRDC)
“Allegany County Human Resources Development Commission, Inc is co-sponsoring a new project, Workcamps, that will take place July 4 – July 9, 2011. Over 250 teens and adults from Christian youth groups from across the United States will be arriving in Frostburg (they will be housed at FSU) the afternoon of Sunday July 3, to spend a week in our county painting, repairing and constructing wheelchair ramps at 30 area homes of senior citizens, disabled individuals and low-income households.”
HRDC would like to make the campers staying our county a great experience and are hoping that area groups and organizations will come together and help us in this effort. Donations toward cost of items or donations of items will be greatly appreciated!
